This wedding took place at Riverside Receptions in Centreville Michigan near Three Rivers Mich. I would personally have my wedding here without question.

Kari is actually my niece, she’s got an artsy approach to life and what she did for her own wedding was pretty much amazing. She designed and sewed her entire dress. She created all the table displays and dreamt up her whole wedding to look as it did and i gotta say she really pulled it off!
The wedding and reception both took place at the Blue Dress Barn (3893 Territorial Road Benton Harbor, MI 49022 (269) 944-1751)
The Blue Dress Barn has a neat little country feel, everything worked very nicely on site. For fun photos before the ceremony a vintage little hot dog/ barbeque stand called the Dairy Korner was our first meeting site. Then we went to the beach for group photos.

Matt & LeighAnn a fun Couple came home from Colorado for their wedding day in lakeside michigan. It just so happens most of the power was knocked out and trees and power lines were down everywhere. The guys spent the morning helping to clean the Country club grounds because the storm just left everything a mess. Shockingly it turned out to be really nice out the day of the wedding! Generators were brought in byt the DJ and the Chikiming Country Club grilled all the food, it turned out amazing!!! I started with the girls at the hair salon and went from there. I got choked up looking at how beautiful the images look today and that we remain friends to this day!
I have taken more wedding images I have shot and applied special edits. I’d like to get a feel for if people like these new styles. I usually offer regular color images and a bunch of black and whites to my brides but if a bride wanted everything in these new styles i could do that too. The gallery is here:
The reception was at:
Had a nice time With Shelly and Jamie photographing their beach wedding and enjoyed doing a few shots using the Grand Haven Pier. A “Trash the Dress” session occurred at sunset it was a good time!
You know I have missed out on many potential clients because of missed connections, I have done many diff marketing things to boost public awareness of my brand and it has cost me a pretty penny at that. I guess I have myself to blame for not being a voice and providing images for people to view in blogs on a regular basis. I believe in the quality of my work and the passion i have for it but more importantly the goal has always been to provide my clients with images that aren’t dated or out of style but beautiful crisp colorful images that jump at you with life and soul. Thats what I set out to do and getting there is all about connecting with my clients on a personal level and doing my best to understand what they want and possibly offer things they haven’t considered. Developing that connection is something every bride should be looking for when hiring a photographer. Its def important the images the photographer shows you are top notch but its also really important that you feel some connection. Yes this is a business but its a business about romance, love, soul connections, these are some of the things that brought you to the point of saying yes to someone and these are the things your photographer should draw out of you for amazing lifestyle photos on your wedding day.
